Case study

By using waste heat from large-scale industrial production, the Swedish company WA3RM has developed a circular model that makes it possible and profitable to grow vegetables in colder climates. WA3RM and KUBO are currently working to develop the first greenhouse project in Sweden, on an area of about 20 hectares, for the production of tomatoes. In comparison, the current total greenhouse area for tomato production in Sweden is about forty hectares.
